Year 2: Life Transformation Guide Apprenticeship
The Life Transformation Guide Apprenticeship is a year long experiential training, mentorship, and transformational learning container built upon commitment, continuity, accountability, and relational learning within a cohort based community.
By enrolling in this program, participants are making a full commitment to:
• The complete year of training
• Their apprenticeship cohort and community
• Their own personal healing and development process
• The financial agreement associated with participation
We ask that apprentices enter this agreement thoughtfully and intentionally, recognizing their enrollment as a meaningful commitment to themselves, the group, and the integrity of the apprenticeship container.
Tuition Commitment
Enrollment in the Life Transformation Guide Apprenticeship constitutes a commitment to the full tuition amount regardless of the payment plan selected.
Enrollment reserves a limited place within a highly interactive cohort based training container.
Payment plans are offered as a courtesy for financial flexibility and do not represent a month to month membership or subscription that may be canceled without obligation.
All payment plans remain legally and financially binding for the duration of the agreed upon tuition contract.
Retreat & Travel Expenses
Unless otherwise stated, retreat related incidental expenses are not included in tuition and may include:
• Travel
• Lodging
• Food
• Host fees
• Transportation costs
Participants are responsible for reviewing retreat details carefully and planning accordingly.
Payment Plans & Missed Payment Policy
Participants enrolled in a payment plan are responsible for ensuring payments are made on time according to their agreed upon schedule.
If a payment is missed or significantly delayed:
• Access to program materials, consultation groups, retreats, mentorship, or scheduling privileges may be paused until the account is brought current
• Continued non payment may result in removal from the program
• Removal from the program due to non payment does not release the participant from their financial commitment or remaining tuition obligation
• If financial hardship arises, participants are encouraged to communicate proactively with The Moxie School as early as possible so supportive solutions may be explored when appropriate.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of this program, the extensive preparation and mentorship involved, and the limited cohort enrollment, all payments made toward the apprenticeship are considered non refundable.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Deposits
• Tuition payments
• Monthly payment plans
• Retreat payments
• Consultation sessions
• Guided expanded state sessions
• Missed group calls or trainings
• Unused portions of the program
If a participant chooses not to utilize certain elements of the program, no refunds or credits will be issued for unused services or missed experiences.
Participants are strongly encouraged to proactively schedule all included sessions, retreats, and guided experiences in advance to ensure availability within the training year.
Extraordinary Circumstances
While the overall policy of the program is no refunds, The Moxie School recognizes that extraordinary life circumstances or “acts of God” situations beyond a participant’s control may arise.
Examples may include:
• Serious medical emergencies
• Death in the immediate family
• Natural disasters
• Severe personal crises
• Other significant unforeseen circumstances
In such situations, The Moxie School will work compassionately and reasonably with participants to explore possible modifications, pauses, transfers, or discontinuation of participation where appropriate.
However:
• Any services, sessions, retreats, consultations, or mentorship already received remain fully non refundable
• Approved exceptions are determined solely at the discretion of The Moxie School
• No guarantees of partial refunds, credits, or future transfers are implied
Scheduling Responsibility
Participants are responsible for scheduling and attending:
• Individual IFS sessions
• Guided expanded state sessions
• Consultation meetings
• Retreat participation
• Supervision and review sessions
The Moxie School will make reasonable efforts to provide scheduling availability throughout the year; however, apprentices are responsible for communicating proactively and scheduling in advance.
Scheduling availability cannot be guaranteed at the last minute.
Failure to schedule included services within the apprenticeship timeframe may result in forfeiture of those services without refund.
Participation & Conduct
The Moxie School reserves the right to discontinue participation for any student whose behavior is deemed harmful, unethical, persistently disruptive, unsafe, or otherwise incompatible with the integrity of the apprenticeship container.
In such cases:
• Tuition remains non refundable
• Remaining payment obligations remain due
• Access to program materials, mentorship, retreats, and events may be revoked
Certification Disclaimer
The Life Transformation Guide Apprenticeship is designed to support the development of knowledge, embodiment, facilitation skills, ethical awareness, and practical application within the transformational healing process.
However, enrollment in or completion of the apprenticeship does not automatically guarantee certification as a Life Transformation Guide.
Certification is granted based upon demonstrated readiness, competency, ethical alignment, participation, and the apprentice’s ability to responsibly embody and apply the principles taught within the program.
The Moxie School reserves the right to withhold certification if an apprentice has not demonstrated sufficient readiness, stability, ethical maturity, facilitation capacity, or integration of the material.
Demonstration of Competency & Readiness
The apprenticeship is experiential in nature and includes ongoing assessment through participation, consultation, supervision, guided practice, retreats, and review of facilitation work.
Participants are expected to demonstrate:
• Ethical responsibility
• Emotional maturity and self awareness
• Capacity for Self leadership
• Ability to work relationally and safely with others
• Understanding and application of the IFS model
• Appropriate facilitation skills within expanded states work
• Willingness to receive feedback, supervision, and continued refinement
While successful completion of program requirements is important, completion alone does not necessarily indicate readiness to guide others independently.
Additional supervision, mentorship, or continued development may be recommended prior to certification.
Certification decisions are made at the discretion of The Moxie School based upon the apprentice’s overall demonstrated competency and readiness to responsibly hold transformational work with others.
